  • Flight: The players who have activated flight mode are unaffected by gravity. For your information, flight is the most versatile form of transportation, available in Creative and Spectator Modes.
  • Feather Falling Enchantment: If a player’s boots are enchanted with this effect, they are going to fall to the ground at the same speed. But, they are going to take less fall damage. Enchantments are special bonuses or assets which can be applied to armor, weapons or tools through the use of an enchantment table.
  • Elytra: This allows a player to glide down safely to the ground without taking damage while controlling the direction of their descent. For your information, Elytra is a special kind of armor that was introduced in the 15w41b snapshot of 1.9, which takes up the chestplate slot.
  • Chickens. This is immune to fall damage, instead they flap their wings while falling, gliding down to the ground safely. Chickens are passive animal mobs that live throughout the Overworld.
  • Iron Golems and Snow Golems: These are immunes to fall damage.
  • Jump Boost: This is a status effect which makes the players and mobs jump higher and take less fall damage. Jump Boost is a Status Effect that allows a player to jump higher by half a block , and take less damage from falling. The higher the level of the effect, the higher a player will jump and take less damage from falling.
  • Levitation: This is a status effect added in 1.9 which makes the players and mobs float for a short period of time. Levitation is a neutral (sometimes negative) Status Effect which causes a player to float in the air for a short period of time depending on the duration of the effect.
  • Slow Falling: This is a status effect added in 1.13 which makes the players and mobs fall slowly, and negates any fall damage that would be dealt normally. Slow Falling is a status effect which was added to Minecraft in update 1.13. It creates a player fall slowly and negates any fall damage.
