AARP 10×10 is known as Tetris-like puzzle game. For those who do not have idea of Tetris, it is a tile matching puzzle video game originally designed and programmed by Soviet Russian software engineer called Alexey Pajitnov.
AARP 10×10 is easy to play, but difficult to master. What are the rules of the game? In order to play this free game, you can just simply place the blocks onto the 10×10 grid. When you have created a full vertical or horizontal line, it will disappear. However, you need to be careful as the game ends if you run out of room on the grid to place any of the blocks.
Actually, the rules of AARP games 10×10 are not really different compared to Tetris. Tetris is mainly composed of a field of play in which pieces of different geometric forms named tetriminos, descend from the top of the field. During the descent, you are able to move the pieces literally and rotate them until they touch the bottom of the field or land on a piece that had been placed before it. You can neither slow down the falling pieces nor stop them, but are allowed to accelerate them in most versions. The main task of the game is to use the pieces to create as many horizontal lines of blocks as possible. When a certain line is completed, it will disappear and the blocks placed above fall one rank. Apparently, completing lines grants points, and accumulating a particular number of points will move you up a level, that increases the number of points granted per completed line. In most version, the players are able to clear multiple lines at once, that can gain bonus points in some versions. There is a possibility of the player t complete up to four lines simultaneously with the use of the I-shaped tetrimino. If the player is not able to make the blocks disappear quickly enough, the field will begin to fill, and when the pieces reach the top of the field and avoid the arrival of additional pieces, the game ends. At the end of the game, the player will get a score based on the number of lines that have been completed. The game itself never ends with the victory of the player. In fact, the player can only complete as much lines as possible before an inevitable loss.
Just like Tetris, AARP 10×10 is a challenging puzzle game that needs patience and strategy. It might seem easy as you can just fill up the 10×10 board with tiles but it is not as easy as it seems. In order to master the game, it is better for you to practice a lot and use the best strategy that you have. As a saying says that practice makes perfect. Aside from that the most important thing is to not to give up if the game gets too intense and you feel like giving up playing the game.
